We zijn 365 dagen per jaar open! De exacte tijden verschillen per seizoen. Kijk even op onze openingstijdenpagina voor de meest actuele informatie. Zo weet je precies wanneer je bij ons terecht kunt voor een groot avontuur in het klein.

What are the minimum ages for visiting the attractions?

 

Is there a map of the park available?

You can find the map in the Madurodam app, as well as detailed information about all our miniatures and attractions and interactive tours. Download it for free from Play Store (for Android) or App Store (for Apple).

Is it allowed to smoke in Madurodam?

From 1/1/2020 smoking is not allowed anywhere else except on a designated part of the Taste of Holland terrace next to the entrance to the toilets (if you stand with your back to the taste of Holland, the right side). Smoking is not allowed on the terrace of the Panorama Café and on the outer ring and on the park itself.

Is it allowed to bring my dog ​​or other pet to Madurodam?

Dogs or other pets are not allowed to enter Madurodam (exception for guide and other assistance dogs).

Dog owners can leave their dog at one of our kennels free of charge. These are 1x1x1 meter pens. We have a limited number of spaces available, so please make a reservation in advance via our reception (+31 70 41 62 400).

Mag je eten en drinken meenemen?

Ja hoor, dat mag! Neem gerust je eigen broodje mee. Er zijn genoeg bankjes om gezellig te picknicken. Liever iets kopen? In onze restaurants is voor iedereen wat lekkers te vinden.

Can I use my Museum Card to get access to Madurodam?

No, unfortunately a Museum Card is not valid here.

How much does a companion of someone with a disability pay?

If someone with a disability is dependent on a companion, the companion will receive free access. Other family and group members will pay the normal entry price.

Where can I buy tickets?

You can buy tickets at the counter and via the website.

Online tickets

How much does a day ticket for Madurodam cost?

Online we offer 2 types of tickets: Flextickets and tickets by date. 

With a Flexticket you can visit Madurodam on a day of your choice. A Flexticket costs €22.50. Your Flexticket is valid until 4 January 2026. 

Tickets by date are only valid on the chosen day of visit. We use dynamic rates for these. This way we can guarantee the best price-quality ratio! Click here for the most current rates.

A ticket at the counter costs € 24.50. 

How many people is a ticket valid for?

The ticket is valid for one person.

How much does a family and friends ticket cost?

A family and friends ticket costs €75 and is valid for 4 guests. This ticket is valid for one day and is only available online out of high season.

How many people is the family and friends ticket for?

For 4 persons. When you visit, all 4 tickets are scanned, even if you come with fewer people. It is not possible to use them again at a later time.

Do I need to print the online ticket in advance?

If it's up to us, please don't print your ticket. You can show the barcode on the online ticket on your smartphone or tablet at the counter.

My ticket is illegible, what should I do?

Your ticket is your proof of payment for entry to the park. The unique barcode will be checked electronically with a scanner at the entrance. This must be legible. So it’s important that your ticket is not ripped, crumpled or folded. You are responsible for ensuring your barcode is legible

How do I know for sure my ticket will be accepted at the entrance

The barcode on your ticket, printed or not, can be easliy scanned. We do it every day. Be aware that you can use your ticket only once. Once the barcode is scanned it cannot be used a second time. If you experience any issues at the park please ask an employee for help. They are always happy to be of assistance.ze receptie.

Will my money be refunded if I have not used my ticket?

If you have bought the ticket on our website you ca get a refund within 14 days from date of purchase. Beyond these 14 days we don't offer any refunds unfortunately. In some cases you can still rebook your tickets. View here when that is possible and how it works.

Can I give tickets as a gift?

Yes, tickets are not person-specific and can therefore be given as a gift.

Do I need to buy a ticket if my child is younger than 3?

Children younger than 3 can enter the park free of charge.

Ik heb geen bevestiging ontvangen, wat nu?

Check eerst even je spamfolder – soms belandt ‘ie daar per ongeluk. Niks gevonden? Neem dan contact met ons op, dan zoeken we het voor je uit.

Kan ik mijn ticket annuleren of wijzigen?

Een ticket kun je helaas niet annuleren. Maar geen zorgen: je kunt je ticket wel omboeken naar een andere datum, zo vaak je wilt! Dat regel je makkelijk via de link in je bevestigingsmail.

Madurodam subscription

Where can I buy a Madurodam subscription?

You can easily do so online through this page. You can choose a single season ticket for 1 person or a family and friends season ticket for 4 people. With a season ticket you have unlimited access to Madurodam for one year. A season ticket for one person costs €50 and a family and friends season ticket costs €140.

What should I bring to Madurodam, is only my subscription pass sufficient?

When you visit, we scan both your subscription pass and your subscription ticket. This is proof of your reservation, which states the day of your visit and the timeslot. You have ordered the subscription ticket online. For an explanation, see the question "how can I make a reservation?".

Parking

Hoe kom ik het makkelijkst bij Madurodam?

Met de auto, het OV of de fiets – alles is mogelijk! Tram 9 of bus 22 stoppen praktisch voor de deur. Kom je met de auto? Parkeren kan op ons eigen terrein. En fietsers? Die zetten hun stalen ros gewoon pal voor de ingang.

How much does parking at Maduroam cost?

Parking at Madurodam costs €12,50. You can park your car during opening hours.

How many parking spaces are available at Madurodam?

At the Madurodam parking area there is room for appr. 450 cars.

At what time does the parking area close?

You are able to enter the parking area 1 hour prior to closing. You can leave the area not later than 1 hour after the park closes. View our opening hours here.

Are there charging stations at the Madurodam parking area?

There are eight electric charging poles at the Madurodam parking area, so you can charge your car here while parking.

School trips, groups and corporate events

Can I visit Madurodam with a (school)group?

Yes, that is possible! Check out the options for a group visit or school trip and make your reservation right away.

Can I organize a children's party?

Yes, of course! Check out the options for a children's party here and make your reservation right away.

Can I cancel or move my school trip or children's party?

Yes, that's possible. We can change your reservation to another date free of charge on the same conditions. We are happy to help you with this. Mail us at sales@madurodam.nl.

Toegankelijkheid

Is het park goed toegankelijk voor rolstoelgebruikers?

Ja, het hele park is toegankelijk via licht hellende paden. Ook de restaurants en meeste attracties zijn goed bereikbaar. Lees hier meer over.

Kun je een rolstoel reserveren?

Zeker! We hebben een aantal rolstoelen beschikbaar. Bel ons vooraf even op (070 – 41 62 400), dan zetten we er eentje voor je klaar.

Zijn er mindervalidentoiletten?

Ja, twee zelfs: eentje in restaurant Taste of Holland en eentje in het Panorama Café.

Voorzieningen & services

Zijn er kluisjes in het park?

Ja! Handig voor je jas, tas of andere spullen. Je vindt de kluisjes bij de ingang van het park.

Is er een ruimte voor baby’s om verschoond te worden?

Zeker weten. In de toiletruimtes zijn verschoonplekken aanwezig. Zo maken we het ook voor de allerkleinsten comfortabel.

Zijn er kindermenu’s in de restaurants?

Absoluut! We hebben speciale kindermenu’s met lekkere én herkenbare keuzes. Smullen maar!
